ET-9MS-4/5

The ET-9MS-4/5 series reached end of life in early 2010. It was a managed 9 port switch with 7 port copper 10/100 RJ45 & 2 fiber port (SC or ST SM/MM) and was rated for -40/75C operating temperature.

data sheet manual

Since there is no 9 port  switch with 2 fiber ports currently manufactured by Sixnet, there are 2 options:

SLX-8MS-4/5

Option 1 is the SLX-8MS-4/5 which has 8 ports total, 6 RJ45 10/100 & 2 Multimode ST/SC Fiber connectors, is rated -40 to 75C operating. Fully compatible with the ET-9MS-4/5 & configuration software remains the same.

The difference is 1 less RJ45 port and smaller size. The overall envelope is less with the ET 6.25″W X 3.77″H X 2.30″D and the SLX 1.60″W X 4.70″H X 3.82″D (see data sheets).

SLX-10MG

Option 2 SLX-10MG-1 has 10 ports, 7 RJ45 10/100 & 1 RJ45 10/100/1000 (Gig) 2 Gigabit combo Copper/Fiber ports, is rated -40 to 75C operating. Fully compatible with the ET-9MS-4/5 and configuration software remains the same.

The difference is 2 more RJ45 ports, 3 Gigabit ports and the 2 fiber ports are SFP style which requires 2 SFP transceivers with LC connectors which are a little different from the ST or SC originally provided. The overall envelope dimensions are less;  1.63″W X 5.52″H X 4.30″D (see data sheet).
